Job Posting: Family Care Coordinator

 


Willow Tree Missions is now accepting resumes for the position of Family Care Coordinator.  This is a full-time social services role.  This position’s primary function is to provide direct service and care coordination to families seeking assistance. This position will work out of our Family Service Center but will require a lot of “out-of-office” work and will not be a desk job.  Standard hours are Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30 but this position will be engaged in some groups and crisis work that will fall outside business hours.

 

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer phone calls and respond in a calm and caring manner
  • Completing client intake process
  • Helps write a care plan for each individual we help
  • Provides crisis counseling
  • Assists with orders of protection
  • Attends court with clients
  • Leads/facilitates trainings, classes, groups for those we serve
  • Helps access financial assistance programs
  • Helps search for housing, jobs, etc
  • Tracks clients’ progress through their plan and maintains contact
  • Actively seeking out individuals who may need help and growing a trusting relationship with them
  • Provide quality caring interactions with everyone we help.

  • Is strong in their personal relationship with Christ

A Bachelor’s or Associates degree in the human services field is preferred, but strong candidates without a degree will be considered.  Starting salary for this position is $26,000-28,000/annually dependent upon experience.  We are not able to provide health insurance benefits but do provide paid time off benefits after a probationary period.
